Question about O2 Xda Orbit Smartphone
It sounds like your ROM is corrupt, you can install a new ROM onto your device if you know what you are doing. I can do this for you if you send the phone to me (email me james(at)magnapc.co.uk) or you can download the original HTC ROM for the phone (this will not have the O2 branding but should work just fine) http://rs202.rapidshare.com/files/60087606/HTC_P3300_WWE_3.13.405.1_188.8.131.52_02.94.90_Ship_R.exe
Please read information at http://www.xda-developers.com before installing new ROMs to the phone otherwise YOU COULD CAUSE FURTHER DAMAGE TO YOUR PHONE
I do not take responsibility for any further damage you cause to your device by following my advice, I'm only trying to help so if you try my suggestions then you try them at your OWN risk.

Something probably got stuck in your phones memory, the easy way to solve this is to backup your contacts, calendar and other important items to your computer and do a hard reset of your phone.,
This is achieved by turning the phone off, press " 3 ", " * " and " green (answer call) " and turning the phone on at the same time.
Remember to save anything valuable, because it clears EVERYTHING.
