You can calibrate the oven temperature, the adjustment screw is inside the thermostat shaft. when you remove the oven knob.

I have a double oven kitchenaid natural gas range model KGRS505X. When I cook in the upper oven nothing I cook will brown. Buiscuits get cooked but are still ehite when done. What is the problem?

I can't get the self cleaning on my oven to work,do you know why maybe, the elements seam to be working.


the oven door must be locked for self clean to operate.look under cook top,above oven door for the 'latch'. pull it out to lock door.

hey thats not a hard one for you.kill the power to your range [breaker ok]under neath the cook top frount where the top of oven door meets the cook top.in there are screews into the cook top .remove and lift up cook top it is hinged in the back .clean ,then put back together.you got it God bless ,tom

sounds like a bad bake ignitor(uneven heat,long cook times, long preheat times, perhaps even gas smell while cooking)as far as the heat from under the clock assy thats the normal vent( nedds to release heat somewhere, not a problem

The oven is constantly burning things I cook. If I reduce the heat - food doesn't cook properly and when you use the correct heat, the bottom on the food is burnt black. Can anyone help. Also no way of...


There are other possibilities, but,..... this sounds like what will happen if you use too large of a pan or cookie sheet(s) in your oven. If there is not much space on the sides and front and back of the pans, the heat gets trapped under the pan (causing burning) because not enough hot air is getting to the top of the oven where the oven thermostat is located.
