How to turn off delay mode on ovens

so if you put it in regular bake cycle and hit start, what happens? will it actually heat up and proceed as normal, or does it keep asking for delay time input? if it heats up like normal and you can cook with it, there is a possibility of a faulty keypad, which could automatically activate the delay option. If it doesn't heat up, more than likely a control board issue. If you would like more detailed help, look for me on 6ya

Need self-cleaning instructions....missing manual.

To Self-Clean: 1. Close the oven door. 2. Move the door lock lever to the right to the locked position. 3. Press CLEAN. 4. Press the "up" or "down" arrow pad. CL-M (Clean - Medium soil, 3 hours) appears in the display. When I turn on the broiler on my GE Eterna the flame actually comes up and out of the oven. I can smell th plastic from somewhere melting. So I don't dare use the broiler. And don't

This shouldn't be happening. You may have a delayed ignition causing this. the igniter may be going bad causing this delay. Or the igniter is too far away from the gas tube.

Maytag Stuck on "Delay"

You are in the Tiller and Cultivator section of FIXYA but have you tried unplugging or shutting off the Breaker for a few seconds and let the Oven 'reboot'? Ahh, what ever happened to the simple good old fashioned Ovens?

Setting the delay on the oven

To correctly proceed you have to know the format the timer program is working in. SO you need to know
1Time format IE 12 hour AM - PM or 24 hr military time 2If a day, date is required M-Sun...or IE Sat 12th of March...(some times this is not a peramiter needed)

With the clock and calendar set the delay time should require a "timed mode setting" prior to being able to set the timer. Once in this mode you will have 1 of 3 ways to set the time delay depending on how the timer is set up to read your instructions. .
1 the actual time of day it is to start (set in actual clock time like the equalivant of 3:05 PM or if in military time, 24hr clock 15:05) or 2 the actual delay time until the program is set to start (again set in hours and minutes 2:10 = 2 hours and 10 minutes from now) 3 also is the stop time, when you want to program to end (also set in the format the timer is programed to recieve instructions)

Also the calendar could be waiting for input as to which day to start the program
