Frozen screen? Was shooting video. Camera froze. Can't turn it off. Image frozen on screen.

I also have this same problem - we bought a new camera after we were told that it would cost about the same to have it repaired as to buy new.

SOURCE: frozen image on nikon coolpix L18

We were in the middle of taking pictures on our Nikon L18 and it was in continuous shot mode and the picture froze on the screen...I called tech support and they wanted me to turn the camera in so it could i fixed..it was a BRAND NEW CAMERA!!!!
yeah so we just took the batteries out and let it reset...see if that works.

SOURCE: r09 shows up when I try to take a picture. Cannot access preview screen. Camera seems frozen.

This means Bent lens lever. Gently straighten it or get it replaced.

The Casio Tryx has a tiny reset button next to the memory card slot, move the cover and you will see it. This should fix the problem. My screen froze on my wife and she thought, hell I thought she broke it. But works great now. Good luck

You camera does have a battery and it is possible it simply needs to be recharged.
