Question about Eidos Interactive Video Game Consoles & Games
I have the game Tomb Raider Underworld loaded, however am unable to play because a box keeps coming up saying that Direct 3D is not compatable with current settings. I have all the other Tomb Raider games and have not had this problem. Can you please help me?
You might need to update you version of DirectX by going to the microsoft site, or make sure that the 3D accelleration is enable in DXDIAG.
If using XP go to Start>Run (on the right hand side) and type in dxdiag then press enter. When the program opens click on the display tab and check that the 3D accellarator is enabled. Also carry out the tests within the display tab to make sure that there are no other errors. Check the game for the version of DX that it need against the version that you have, your version will be displayed when the dxdiag program opens. I hope this helps

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
