SOURCE: Lense won't open.
There is a very small lens inside the camera which moves back and forth to focus the image. Sometimes this lens gets stuck making it impossible to focus the image. If this is the case a nice firm smack on the palm of your hand can jar it free. I know it sounds crazy, but it has worked for me before.

Due to the U3 technology, i.e. the files you deleted which were on the drive when you got them, you may have caused the drive to malfunction because the U3 software was not uninstalled, but rather deleted.
Please attempt to reinstall the U3 software on the Sandisk website, named "U3 Launchpad Installer"
which can be found at this link: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx
If you are still having problems, either reinstalling the software or with corrupt files, please report any errors exactly as you see them.
