    is this an easy fix?

Here is my `Double Picture' story. It started 2 months ago. First a double picture occured. Then the problem accelerated and moved to the next stage: a tripple picture.

I opened the device with my longhaul screw driver and did some testing.

First I removed and reconnected the 3 LCD-Panels (Red, Green, Blue) always one by one and in all different variations. But the double picture still remained. So i guess it is a problem in the optical block between LCD-Panels and Lense.

It is really tricky do to some re adjustments and I am horrified to make problems/conditions worse.

If you have any Idea please post it.

Most likely the mirror has moved or a lense has come out of its groove.

Image is double like ghosts with a greenish/redish color

Not a lamp as this model (one listed) uses 3 picture tubes--likely a convergence problem--see typical in attached photo.

This set does but rarely have this problem---take a careful look on back where model number is at and look for chassis number--is it a PTK195 or what? That chassis had one easy fix for this problem.

Could be a convergence problem----see photo attached and tell me if yours looks ANYTHING like this.

A precise model number would allow me to assist you better.

Ghost image in different color from main image - text appears "doubled"

Use the remote to access the menu and you'll be able to POSITION the colors horizontally and vertically .
You should be able to align with the other colors to make it sync'd.

Showing to of the same thing and colors

ghosting or convergance issue is what u have. if the image is in diff colors then deff a convergence issue. however, if the image isthe same color or shaded from the original then this is ghosting. this may be corrected through the menu settings(sinc settings).
