Question about Sony Walkman Bean NW-E307 MP3 Player

Sony Walkman NWD-B103F Problem

I've seen many solutions the same problem, but neither of them solve mine. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, so I ask for help.

I've got a Sony Walkman NWD-B103F and everytime I turn it on, I get a "Boot problem, shutting down". There were sometimes my mp3 start completely but many songs were "broken" or couldn't be reproduced, and as my mp3 had the format option, I chose to do it. Then, I also get a "Format error".

Also, everytime I put it on my pc and open "My PC" folder, before I could even do the double click on the mp3 file, the "My Pc folder" freezes.

I've read the solutions, I've followed the instructions, but my mp3 is still dead.

Hope you can help me.
Thank you.

Reinstall the firmware update for this product. Go to the Sony Support Center and download it. Then open the software. The software reinstalls the software.

You're done!

Good luck, and Happy Holidays.

The battery does not hold charge. It is weak. Replace it with same type number. Brand name of the battery isn't a matter, check its type number printed on it.

Read your question before you post it - PLEASE!!!!

Folks - please read what you write down before you press the submit button. And when you do, please put yourself in the place of the person(s) at the other end of the line who are going to receive the question you write. Well over half of the questions submitted here on Fixya will never get an answer. WHY?

  1. They are not a question. Many people simply state their current situation. Sometimes we can ascertain what the question should be, but often their submission is simply a statement of fact - one that we have no idea what they want to accomplish from it.
  2. They do not contain a description of the device. Many items are listed in the wrong category because the person asking the question fails to identify what it is they are talking about. Sure, you know, you've been tearing your hair out for who knows how long at trying to solve the issue, but we are totally new to the problem. Make sure you state exactly what you are having problems with, and be sure to do it in the body of the description in case the category gets fouled up. Include the manufacturer, model number (and engine size for cars), and anything else important about the device.
  3. They tell us what is broke, but give no pertinent details. "My oven won't heat - why?" How would you answer that question? You don't know what type of oven it is - who made it, what model it is - is it gas or electric?
  4. They don't describe the conditions that led up to the failure or issue. This makes it harder to determine what may have been the cause, and thus what may be the solution.
  5. They don't tell us what they've done thus far in trying to fix the problem. That goes a long way to helping to determine what you still need to try.
I could go on and on about this issue, but you get the point. If you want an answer from us (a good one that is), make sure you ask a complete, concise question that contains all the details we need to answer it. Those who try but don't quite get enough will often get our attention and we will ask for more data, but the majority of them are so vague that in our opinion, if you can't take the time to ask the question, we won't waste our time trying to answer it.
One last thing, remember that this is the WWW. The questions asked come from all parts of the globe, and many of the experts do as well. Many times we experts look to the Internet to find answers to your questions as we are often more knowledgeable at ferreting out data. If you let us know what country you are from, it often assists us in locating things like user manuals and such, since manufacturers make different models for different countries and have different websites for them. Just saying.

My moto g Is stuck in safe mode and has a cyber net warning saying we owe $300.00 fine . can someone help me?

Sounds like you have mal ware on your machine. Many of these claim that you have done something wrong (usually porn, but I\'ve seen them claiming I drove through a toll road without paying, even though we don\'t have toll roads!) It\'s trying to bilk you out of money. I\'m not sure what OS you have, but you might have to back it to the latest safe point. In the installation there is a mechanism to let you set a checkpoint, that if something fails, you can reset it to that point. It usually involves loss of data. If this is a browser, sometimes you can use switches on the command line to make it not load all sites. Worst case if it\'s a browser, take the machine off line and see if it will boot. If you can find the stored page delete it. Since I don\'t know which browser you use or any other information I can\'t give you any more details. DON"T PAY THE MONEY!!!

Frs26h5as compressor wont run fan in freezer runs relay gud changed defrost time but still no power at compressor plug

The thing is, if the fan in the freezer is running the compressor should be running as well. Here are some questions you should answer in order to solve this problem. When you put the timer on did you do it correctly, I've seen guys have timers with a floating wire and put the wire on the wrong pin. I've also seen timers installed misaligned meaning they were one pin over so only three of the four pins were in. Next, did you check the cold control thermostat. This would kill the compressor but the fans as well. How do you know if the relay is good? Are you sure the compressor isn't getting power, it could be shot and not even trying to come on. A good test method is buy a rco-410 hard start relay. Once you have it, cut an old plug off something and leaving the plug intact, splice the two wires at the cut end with the two wires on thet really that don't have metal ends. Once that is done securly, unplug the fridgem take the really off the compressor and hook up the home made compressor tester. Once plugged in if the compressor is good it will come on, it it doesn't it's bad. This works becuase you remove any variables that are present with the machine hooked up normal.

My mini laptop says "BOOTMGR

The BOOTMGR is also known as the "Boot Manager." That means that there is something wrong with the hard drive. You would need to copy that BOOTMGR file from the Windows disc that your laptop would've came with. Otherwise, you would need to restore the computer to it's factory settings.

Now, who's the laptop's manufacturer? I suggest you call them and have them assist you restoring your laptop to it's original factory settings, like when you first bought it.

If you have some problems. Don't hesitate to leave a comment and I'll get back to you.

Hi, i just recently joined Fixya, and would like to know, How/when do you start earning?

Hi, actually everything is mentioned in the "FaqExp" section [click HERE], I am also one of FixYa's expert like you, so I don't think it's necessary to explain everything to you. I would suggest you to contact FixYa CM (Community Manager), she'll explain you everything. Here's her email address "". For your information, let me suggest you something, when I checked your solutions, there are few solutions which cannot be considered solution, for example, you've posted "Google it bro..", "Google the schematics...It most likely will be there." etc.. It's very important for us to help them with the download links if the askers need it instead of telling them to simply google... I don't mean anything, but it's for the betterment of FixYa and for us experts. Good Luck.
Let me know if you need further help.

Regards, Nonontech
