Mine did that until I installed the keyboard software, then it was fine.

Cordless Mediaboard Pro - how to turn auto-sleep mode off?

I can see you've posted on the Logitech website and I think that will be your best bet. I work in a shop that sells these and I've got one in front of me but I don't have any idea how to change the sleep settings, or if it's even possible :\

I bet there's some really complex coding you may have to input, even then it's not guaranteed to work

I have a nexxtech keyboard not recognizing keys strokes. The "office lock" light is lit. If I press that light it goes off. No other keys respond to touch.

the light on only means its getting power try blowing out all of the dust from your keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines.
dust causes static which causes lots of problems with a computer and its parts
or if this does not fix the problem

Your wireless receiver has two connection, right? A purple for the keyboard and a USB connecter. Don't plug in the purple keyboard jack. Only plug in the USB. You might have to restart your computer a couple of times to get this to work right.

Go Type keyboard for Palm Pilot

According to, the 1121 is for the PalmPilot and Palm III. I have a later GoType and the model number is 2500. On the bottom where it's got the P/N it says "for Palm III/VI". Landware is still in business, but only selling software these days. You could try emailing them to verify Amazon's info and find out if your keyboard works with any other devices, such as the Handspring PDAs or the short-lived TRGPro.

I have a mx3200 cordless keyboard that has a clock and date window. The alarm clock goes off at 2:00pm how do i turn it off? Do you have a manual I can download?

got this off the logitech forum, The only instructions that I can find (which came with my relatively new pc) are on a large "Installation Guide," the most pertinent information from which is about setting the time and date: "To enter time/date setting format on the keyboard LCD, press the FN key and F10 key simultaneously." Also "LCD: Mode (F9): switch mode from Time/Date to Alarm to Timer to Character Count. Set (F10): press to set Time/Date, Alarm and Timer. Change batteries one by one to keep LCD settings. Remove the 4 keyboard batteries to reset Character Count to "o." Bell (f11): put Alarm On or Off. START/STOP (F12): start 01 pause Timer." The Logitech program group (should be on your Start menu) will give you further information for identifying keys, and for formatting the keyboard and mouse. Good luck.

Logitech cordless desk top MX3000

Hi: Just got off the phone with a Jason at Logitech Customer Service. The "locked" keyboard after battery replacement is a known error/bug with the MX 3200 and 1 other keyboard they make. The solution is very easy (amazing). If you have NOT installed the Logitech Setpoint software that manages all the extra buttons on the keyboard,
Do This:
Press "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "F12",
Then the "Connect" button on the USB RECEIVER,
Then press the red "Connect" button on the back of the keyboard,
Then Press "esc"
That will do it.
The keyboard goes into the encrypted mode with battery change. Perhaps changing batteries one at a time, like they suggest to keep the LCD settings will avoid this?

If you have already installed the Setpoint Software, then pressing Ctrl, Alt, F12 will pop-up a box asking if you want to come out of encryption mode, I'm told.

Good luck,

It could be a short in the cable to the computer or maybe corrupted software. To use those extra keys requires extra software so I'd be inclined to uninstall it and then then reboot and then reinstall. As those extra keys can be changed to almost anything you want them to do I'd bet on a software problem. Run the software that's installed on it now and see what it's set on now. It's pretty straight forward to reset everything. Oh and make sure the plug to the computer is plugged in fully
