Question about Televison & Video
HD tv 50 inch Progressive Monitor after turning it on, only lasts about 45 minutes on, and the picture goes off and turns dark maintaining only the sound.
The same will occur if I turn it on again. It does not remain with the pircture for more than 45 minutes to an hour.
Samsung HDTV will stay on when turned on the temp lamp and timer light are flashing continually. what should I do to eliminate this problem?

Need to test F470 and F850 for open.. Simple continuity to see if either fuse is open.. If F 470 is open replace it and C884 and if F850 is open you probably you may need to replace the two convergence amps STK392-110... Large black Ic's screwed on an aluminum heat sink...

Sounds like the CRTs are going into protective blanking due to the vertical output ic needing to be resolderd. Try resoldering the vertical IC that may possibly fix the issue.
