Question about LG LDF6810 Built-in Dishwasher

2 Answers

Hi All, we have just bought and fitted a Hoover HEDS 668-80 Dishwasher. When we tried to run the first wash, the pre-wash and wash light both light up simultaneously. The instruction manual says this means, "longer inlet time", with the possible causes "Faucets is not opened". Could anyone help? Many Thanks. Lisa. :-)

You do not have enough water pressure,, either change the water supply or check the pressure in your house should ba about 70lbs, to work the unit properly,, you could also increase the water supply from 3/8 to 1/2 inch up to the connection of the unit

My Dishwasher has a rapid flashing light

I get the same problem with a pepeating beep warning. Only solution I've found is to switch it off using off button then switch it back on. It waits a few seconds then finishes the program and drains. The dishes still seem to be quite damp after. Hope this helps

I have a hoover dishwasher and it starts pre wash cycle then wash light comes on and it beeps and stops

THE PROBLEM IS THE LITRE-COUNTER SWITCH AND IF YOU CUT THE PLUG OFF, SOLDER THE WIRES AND SEAL, IT WILL WORK AGAIN NO PROBLEM, ITS COTACTS THAT GET MOISTURE ON THEM. EVERYBODY THINKS ITS PCB OR PRESSURE SW BUT ITS DEFO NOT. I KNOW BECAUSE I WAS A HOOVER ENGINEER.

HOOVER HOD6615 DISHWASHER CONTINUAL BEEPING AFTER INITIAL RINSE & REFUSES TO PROCEED TO WASH CYCLE WHATS THE PROBLEM?

This could be a safety trigger due to bottom water leak. A anti flood device (polystireen float and micro switch) that switches washer in shut off mode and does not continue until the water leak (pipe or hose clamp) that causes the float to trigger the device. Check the bottom of the washer for traces of water and rectify any leak before the washer will continue.

Have a hoover hed6612 dishwasher just over a year old, it pre rinses and part washes and then doesnt move to the next rinse cycle instead it stops and beeps continuously with the prerinse and wash buttons...

We have had the same problem but have found a fix.
1. If any of the wheels have come off the top sliding basket/rack you need to make sure they are all back on for each wash ( ours are very loose! )
2. Push the top rack in FIRMLY before you wash - make sure it engages at the back.
That's it - solved it for us after months of problems.
I think that as the wheels get worn the top rack does not fully engage at the back and this is when the problem starts manifesting itself. We have some new wheels on order but they are taking ages to arrive.

DIshwasher wont start, flashes pre-wash and was lights

1) Ensure the dishwasher is turned off. 2) (may not apply) Turn the plastic blue lever located under the sink to the vertical position (this opens the valve, so water can go into the dishwasher) 3) Pour powder indo the dishwasher 4) Turn the dishwasher controller to the top position (the 12 o?clock position) ? this is the eco-setting. 5) Press the on/power button on the dishwasher, so that it now turned on (a light will display) 6) Move the dishwasher controller to the ?R? position (it?s on the very left), and leave it there a second or two. 7) Move the dishwasher controller back to the eco-setting (the 12 o?clock position).

Hi my hoover 6612 dishwasher does its pre-wash but then when the light for wash comes on it does nothing. I wondered if it might be a capacitor which needed replacing but I can't find one - any ideas??

Check the float switch inside the tub, it should move freely up and down.

Check the harness to the motor

Check start capacitor on the left side of the wash motor

Dishwasher runs for a long time

If your dishwasher's cycle times are too long, check these:

Water pre-heating
Cycle not completing
Water pre-heating Yourdishwasher may pre-heat the water. If so, and if the water entering thedishwasher is cool, the heater may take up to half an hour to heat thewater.

To avoid the wait, increase the incoming watertemperature before turning on the dishwasher. Do that by running thekitchen sink faucet until the water runs hot. Or increase thetemperature of the hot water to the entire house at the hot waterheater.

Warning! To lessen the risk of scalding, don't set the hot water heater temperature higher than 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Diplomat ADP8322 problem

Hi,

I had the same problem. its apparently due to a sensor that thinks the overflow tray (in the very bottom) has water in it..... I checked, and mine didn't....... but I found that putting the machine on a pre-wash, then doing the main wash worked everytime.....

Hope this helps
