Question about Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S60 Digital Camera

1 Answer

I have a Sony Cyber-shot 6.0 mega pixels camera which says there is no file in the folder and won't allow me to take any pictures to download to my computer. When I do get a pix on the camera, the computer says it won't download and try again or skip. The pix is deleted off the camera as soon as I take it. What's going on? Please help me Thanks Diane

somehow I created a folder in my Sony Cyber Shot DSC-W50 camera (which it says is empty) and I cannot figure out how to get out of the folder and back to the regular images that are remaining in my memory stick- no matter which button I push it keeps going back to the folder and a message sayng no file in this folder. How do I get back to the regular viewing screen in my camera?

Hopefully, Diane, you had the same problem as me. I replaced my memory stick and the
message "no file in this folder" appeared but as soon as I TOOK MY FIRST PICTURE with the
new memory stick, the message disappeared! Good luck!

I want to be able to transfer pictures from my camera(Sony Cyber-shot, 3.2 mega pixels, model DSC-P52) to my computer, believe I need the drivers????????????

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as iPhoto on Mac or Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ) on Windows.

Will DSC-T1 accept a MARK 2 memory stick?

NO, DSC-T1 will not accept such big memory card as its hardware supports maximum 2GB card memory that is more then enough for it because its 6 mega pixel camera.

Yes you can download the user manual for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-w110. It is on Sonys website and in many lanuages. The easy way to find it is to Google search, Sony DSC w110 and look for a sony website link in the first few results. There is an option on the sony page to download the user manual.

SONY Cyber-shot 3.2 mega pixels

Try to right click on the image files while they are read on the memory card or on the camera hard-wired to your computer. Click on copy then click on your desktop of your computer to paste them. They may just be creating short-cuts rather than placing the file onto your computer.
