Question about Maytag MAH6700AWW Neptune Front-Load Washer
It starts the cycle but when it is ready to spin the digital number display wont move from 9 to 8 while is doing this the water punp keeps working on and off
My mah6700aww would get to 9 minutes then stop, water would not evacuate. I took the exhaust pump/motor apart and found a piece of plastic (foreign debris) in the impeller; remove the obstruction and re-installed the pump/motor; problem solved. Three bolts that hold the pump/motor in place are 12mm. Also, important to mark the top of the plastic female electrical power connection since it is possible to reverse the connection. I saved $350 min. if you do need to replace the pump/motor they cost about $150 at an appliance parts store.
