Question about Acer Aspire L100 PC Desktop
Started restore system to factory default and followed the instructions right through,after system shut down twice to reboot itself it restarted with no visual icons on screen, now its a continuos snowy screen and cannot reboot orconnect with windows even through safe mode,unfortunately there is no back up disc been downloaded from it yet.
Go into the bios and revert to set up settings/default and reboot.RICHARDM69

Turn Off the computer, now as soon as you hit the power button, keep on holding "Alt" key & keep on tapping "F10 key,ie: Alt+F10, it will open the recovery console ,select full factory restore and follow on screen instruction. (Note:this will erase all datas on the computer)
During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS you can load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

Insert the Recovery CD into your CD-ROM.
Reboot your computer.
Watch the text in DOS carefully. When prompted to boot from your CD, do so.
Choose System Restore and then follow the instructions presented. Once system recovery beings, it may take a few minutes. Once it's done, your system will reboot again.
Remove the Recovery CD from your CD-ROM and store it carefully. Your system has been reset to the factory default.
