First, the CD-I200 is only compatible with Pioneer units that have a built-in iPod adaptor; the unit will say "iPod/iPhone ready". Your unit is not ipod/iphone ready. So, you have to use one of IB units, they are ipod adaptors with the IP Bus cable.
The Apple iPhone 3G, iPod Nano 4th Gen, iPod Touch 2nd Gen, and any
other newly released iPods can be controlled using the iPod adapter
above; however, charging will not be possible unless you purchase the Scosche IFWA PassPORT charging adapter.
The stereo is not designed to interface with ipods through the usb. It will play by connecting your ipod's headphone output to the aux in jack on the face.A cable is supplied for this but i found mine to be noisy. A different cable worked fine.
I believe that you are lucky since the "P" in the model number of the deck indicates and extra input source on the rear of your deck. This is used right now by your changer. You need to replace the changer with the Ipod and you are done. Stereo mini to dual rca's and you are done.
