Question about Zebra LP 2844 Thermal Printer
Using 2.25"x.75" labels (direct thermal)
Using Parallel Port.
Labels will advance one label at a time when using manual advance.
When either of two of our programs, the printer will skip 15 -16 labels and then print desired label slightly off center. (Utilize several other TLP- and LP 2844 on programs without issue).
Perfomed Dump which looked to used 4 labels to calibrate, 16 blank labels,Serial Page Info..PageMode, 16 Blank labels, FMem info, 15 blank labels, S3...Option info, 15 labels, Now in Dump...Feed to Exit, 15 blank labels, and then Out of Dump message.
Have checked and verified all Printing Preference parameters.
It sounds like they may need to set their "Q" values for the labels they are using. If that isn't it, we may need more info - are they using Zebra brand or custom labels?
To start with, I would ask them to try adding these "Q" value commands: q456 Q152,24
If that doesn't work, then maybe they can provide the other info mentioned above so we can understand the problem better.
