Question about Vintage Lullaby Nest Crib

Lullabye crib from 1966...Is its orig paint lead-free?

We have a Lullabye crib in perfect condition with its original blue paint.
Does this paint contain lead? Was lead-based paint used on cribs in those days?

I purchased my Lullabye crib in 1974-75 for my kids, I still have it in the attic, is it safe for the grandkids, because of the possibility of lead paint?

It is possible that the paint used on the crib did infact contain lead. "Lead" paint was deemed unsafe and banned from use in 1978. Best way to check this is to go to your local hardware store and request a lead test kit. Follow the instructions as each test can be different. Hope this helps.

I have lullaby crib model # 04540, lot # 00803 purchased in January of 1978. Do you know if we can find out if lead paint was used on this crib

Most items produced in 1978 and earlier did use lead based paint and also due to newer safety regulations on cribs are not recommended for use

We have a Lullabye crib from 1966. Is the original paint on the crib lead-free?

I'd suggest you contact your local health department and ask if they have someone there who could test the paint or if they have lead test kits available.

Have a Lullabye Crib - 28 yrs old, no instructions for reassembly

I have directions for the Lullabye Princeton Crib, Model 311146
that I purchased in 1993. It sounds like the same type of hardware
that allows the front rail (only) to move up and down, with springs
at the bottom to cushion the drop. If you think this might help you
and you want me to post these directions, just let me know.
