The file you are trying to copy might not be an mp3 file. mp4 files, and i-tunes files will not open on an mp3 player, they only show up as data. quite simply, you need an audio converter.

I have a riptunes mp3 player when i put songs onit to replace it it won't let me and it wont let me delete songs on it even if it shows on the screen its been deleted

Try this solution

BE SURE NOT TO DELETE YOUR FIRWARE, ONLY THE SONGS,FILES,ETC.

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio
Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
BE CAREFUL and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.

My Mp3 player will turn on but won't do anything

Your player is probably full of music files, take some of them off.

My new MP3 Player won't let me store 1000 songs, like it should

try when you load it into the computer where you place songs into mp3 try crteating a folder first and nick name it classic, pop, rock what ever you choose. then load your songs into the folders ok that works on most mp3s goodluck!

This link gives a video instruction on how to load music and videos and pictures to your model of GPX product. In the second column on this page, click on the bottom green arrow. You will need to allow pop-ups in your browsers to get the video instructions to come up. Good luck!

My gpx wont let me retrieve the songs that i have on it i want the songs off i use to sync with windows 11 but it just shows that the space is used and shuffling the songs doesnt even work.

It is easier to get a SD memory card for it. Drag and drop the music onto the window which represents the SD memory card and then just put the SD memory card into the GPX MP3 player. I have the same MP3 player and it works nice... it was a good deal for the money! Take the savings and invest in a cheap SD memory card and you will be happy.... I was!
:-) Good Luck!
