Question about Canon PIXMA iP3000 InkJet Photo Printer
I just changed the ink cartridge on the above printer and now it won't print anything. I am using a canon cartridge and i replaced the print head about 2 months ago. The last cartridge worked fine. I'm sure I am putting it in correctly. Please help. Thanks
Check usb cable if they are installed firmly and correctly. Check proper voltage input though designed as Autovolt system.
Try plugging the usb cable on another free usb port or you may try another computer to check if your printer works.
See if there are blinking lights and error codes. You can google for its error codes.
Check flex cable continuity, maybe some rodents have eaten it.
Remove ink cartridge, turn the power off and clean cartridge contacts including the holder contacts, turn it on and return cartridges. You may try borrowing a working ink cartridge of the same type from a friend.
