Question about Nikon Coolpix 4600 Digital Camera
Lens won't retract. won't turn on. no image on screen. nothing works. I tried another battery. same situation. the only small sign of life I get is, when there is a battery in and I hold the power switch on, the green light flashes once briefly. Thanks for any help you can give.
I'm curious if the Battery you replaced the first battery you had in it was also bad. That is rare but possible. Another Issue maybe that the door isn't closing all the way creating a cood electrical connection for the batteries inside. It maybe as simmple as applying outward pressure to the battery door. You may need to have the door replaced, unless you can either bend up the metal contacts to assist in the connection ro use something like a small papeclip and some super glue to bridge the contacts.
