Question about Archive Xbox Original Controller S-type1st Party (PrePlayed) (XBORCOSBPAP)

Xbox controller My xbox controller will start shooting until all of the bullets are used up. I bought a new controller thinking that the old one was defective, but I still have the same problem. I cannot play my games because I will shoot my teammates or run out of bullets and get killed myself. Please help. I have found with the new controller if I throw a grenade that I will stop shooting, but it is not suppose to do that either.

Re: xbox controller

If a new controller didn't fix the problem your problem is probably in the console itself. Have you tried connecting the controeler to a different port on your console? Also, if you're using an extension cable try not using it to rule out this as the cause of your problem. If you have done any modifications to your console (a.k.a. chipping it) this might be the source of your problem. Try disabling or uninstalling the mod-chip to see if your problem will go away. -Chris

The remote turns on but always diconnects and its not the batteries

Do you have the new slim because mine does the same? I think it may be the xbox itself. Because im using an old remote now and it still does it. If you do have a warranty on it just call 1800-4MY-XBOX.

I can't get my remote from my old xbox 360 to work with my new 1

If wireless, then push the sync button on the front of the console and on the controller. They are located on the top and in between the left and right bumbers of the controller.

Xbox 360 Wireless controller wont turn on

Right, just keep plugging in the charger into the controller until the light stays red, the small amounts of charge put in each time will eventually give the battery enough juice for it's built in 'memory' to be clued in as to how much power is really in and will then start charging. This is usually caused by leaving your controller unused for a while usually days or so at room temperature after fully charging it in your xbox (i.e. the battery memory 'thinks' it's full and tells the xbox as much when really it's empty)

Controller Promblem

If you are using a rechargeable battery it may not be holding a charge anymore. I had a similar problem like this and fixed it by buying new rechargeable batteries for my controllers. If this doesn't fix the problem, then your controller may have a short in it, which means you may have to buy a new controller.

Xbox 360 wireless contoller won't sync with game console

If you're using an HDMI connection between the Xbox 360 and the TV, it might be that. When using HDMI, the Xbox won't boot up until it knows what the TV is capable of displaying. Although the controller will turn the console on, it won't sync with the console -- and it's not a controller or console problem, but just a symptom of the fact that the Xbox won't get to the point where controllers will sync until it can properly communicate with the TV. I'd recommend turning off the TV and the Xbox, disconnecting the HDMI cable and re-connecting it after making sure the contacts are clean. Then turn the Xbox back on first; you'll likely to see the same behavior. Finally, turn the TV back on. With it being switched back into HDMI mode, it just might "kick-start" the Xbox into a good communication link across HDMI. Hope that helps.

Xbox 360 won't recognize my controller!

If your controller is just blinking you must press the small button on your xbox and at the same time press the small button on the back of your xbox controller and the xbox will pick controller signal.

Xbox 360 wireless control conects then disconnects randomly

The solution is VERY simple.

There is nothing wrong with your controller OR your xbox.

The battery indicator found when pressing your xbox logo button is temperamental. It might say 2 bars, or 3 or even full battery but this is not a good indicator of a full battery.

The problem IS low batteries - when the batteries become low the vibration function can cause the controller to disconnect. This is happens because the vibration function uses extra battery power.

So basically... Every time your controller vibrates, it disconnects. This occurs when firing a weapon in most games, grenades in COD, landing heavy tricks in Skate 2, the list goes on, you'll find many complaints from people stating their controller disconnects specifically with these events.

The simple solution, turn off the vibration function when this occurs. It'll never happen to you again ^_^

Thumbs this up when it proves correct for you. People will find the solution quicker that way.

Logitech wireless controller for PS2

make sure you put batteries in the controller
also if you bought a new controller cuz you lost your old card or something take the batteries out of the old one itll interfere
and you have to press an action button on the controller
(the x,circle,square,and triangle buttons)
if all else fails use your old dual shock and trade the cordless into gamestop for a used controller
(if it wont work theyll replace it for free)

Original Microsoft Xbox Problem I have an original Microsoft Xbox Video Gaming System that has a couple problems. I have a Philips [Model: VAD6011/21(POS)] DVD Drive. A Western Digital [Model: WD80EB-00CGH0] Hard Drive. I dont know whats under it, I've never messed with anything under the DVD and hard drives, so it should be all original parts. At the moment my Xbox will give me the red ring of doom (not the first time I've had that happen), saying that I need service, blah blah blah, and there is no number on the sides of the screen or whatever people are saying is their. The first time I got the red ring of doom, I bought a new DVD Disk drive. That worked. The second time I didn't play it for a couple of months and it started working. Now I'm getting it again, for the third time (at least I think its the third time) and I have no clue what to do. I have not played it for a couple of months. It wont work! What should I do to be able to play my original Microsoft Xbox (like 7 years old) again? Also, when I didn't get the red ring of doom, I would usually get a sound like this "click click, click click, click click..." from my DVD Drive and I couldn't play anything. I got it to work by unscrewing the the front "cage" off of the system and unplugging everything and plugging them back in. That almost worked every time. Was I doing something wrong, is that why I'm getting the red ring of doom? Answers please!
