Sound driver problem

you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the driver and the sound devices
control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select appropriate speakers or audio you will find 3 drop down lists make the necessary adjustments there or control panel,administrive tools,computer management,device manager,sound,could be a yellow question mark? right click to re-install drivers or right click select properties to either troubleshoot,uninstall,rollback driver

i believe the audio device for this model is located on the modem bus.
if you install the modem driver first then the machine should display the "found new hardware" wizard. DONT USE THIS.
ignore the wizard and proceed with the sound driver install then reboot the machine.
that should work providing you have installed the drivers in the correct order

if u 1st install the driver but not working,remove the old audio driver then reboot the PC/unit then after reboot try again to install the sound driver located from the folder of CD.Now if see running sound exe. just make a free run at self if u see message say restart do it.Good Luck and Have a Nice Day...^_^

right click my computer>properties>device manager>hardware>look for audio device and if there is a yellow interrogation near it then there may be a problem and you will need to try to install it manually.Which means something like disable and re-enable and maybe update driver..Thats how I wll troubleshoot this...

go to your control panel click system then go to hardware manger devices look for sound if you see anything under sound click it and update driver if this dont fix it then remove the device from the list and go to add new hardware and try againg some time and old drive will cause the new drive to not install allway say no to seach for driver point computer to the location of the driver like c: or d: make sure the computer can find the driver to install
