It just doesn't support that file, if you use iTunes you can create a different file type very easily and I'm sure you could do it with any other program you are using too

Your player only supports .mtv video files.

You can find a file converter at - avs4you.com

...or search for a file / file extension (to .mtv) converter online.

What video format can i use for my rca opal m43-a mp3 player? i have tried a few like wma and mp3 format but it doesnt seem to play.

Check the specification of your MP3 player to determine thetype of video file format it uses. Most common video files that MP3 players use are, AVI andWMV, there may be others such as FLV, MOV and DivX.If your player cannot play a video then it is an incompatiblevideo file format, then you need to convert that video file to a format thatyour MP3 player uses.Click on this link for instructions on converting videofiles for MP3 players :-http://www.fixya.com/support/r5874192-play_videos_mp3_player

Eclipse cld2 player won't play with headphones, says no files, but when pluged into computer file shows up on laptop and will play through media player? Why can't player find files downloaded on it? ...

This mp3 player is only compatible with mp3 files. If you can play the songs with your media player, chances are that you have the wrong file format for your player. WMA and m4A file formats are not compatible.
To convert your audio files, use the free program found at this location. http://download.cnet.com/Koyote-Free-Mp3-Wma-Converter/3000-2140_4-10442362.html
Remove the incompatible files from your mp3 player.
Import the mp3 files into your media player, then transfer them to your MP3 player.
Good luck!

Your music files maybe formatted wrong. If you have a mp3 player don't use programs that don't sopport Mp3. such as ITunes it uses Mp4 or a.k.a M4. M4 files will not play on a mp3 player. Itunes works with M4 players such as an Apple IPod. Windows Media Player is a good program to use with a Mp3 player Th'er many more Mp3 program out there that are great.

Hope I help.

My ipod shuffle wont play music

It won't play music while connected to computer, that's for sure. It only plays when it's disconnected from the wall charger and computer.

The songs could be in the wrong format
AAC is iTunes native format
Mp3 generally works
WMA is iffy - only unprotected (non-DRM) files will work
Streaming songs won't work

Make sure your audio files are MP3 or Unprotected WMA files, thats all this unit reads. If you use ITUNES or copyrighted music, it will not play it.

Cant play wma file

This player does not recognize the new WMA DRM-encryption system - converting the file to mp3 format or using DRM removal software is the only way around this problem
