Often times, keypads and remotes are not compatible with newer models, even with the same manufacturer. If you are still interested in finding an instruction manual, try the Chamberlain website. You can also purchase a Universal Keypad, which will work with most models.
On the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go you will find the smart/learn button. Press and hold the button on your clicker while you press and immediately release the smart/learn button. Should do the trick.
THE UNIT CAN WORK WITH EITHER ROLLING CODE OR NON ROLLING CODE, NOT BOTH.
I WOULD GUESS THE CLICKER IS NOT ROLLING CODE.
I HAVE NEVER HAD GOOD LUCK WITH THE CLICKER REMOTES - GO AND GET ANOTHER REAL REMOTE - THE SAME SERIES AS THE ORIGIONAL.
GET A REFUND ON THE CLICKER - OR HAVE IT BRONZED FOR THE MANTEL.
