Fisher & paykel gwl11 washing machine motherboard fuse blown

By tjharmsen on Dec 08, 2008

had replaced motherboard several months previous to this new problem. A couple of months ago replaced the pump. New Problem - wouldn't turn on. technician came out says pump is bad reading 55ohms, should be reading 7-12ohms. says motherboard could be bad and they don't fix the motherboards. so i took the motherboard out of its casing and found a blown fuse (bussmann gmc-v-6.3) i've down some researching and found the fuse for pennies vs. hundreds for a new motherboard. i'll still replace the pump, but is there anything else i should be looking at?

Maybe the pump got jammed and stalled and blew the fuse.
