Assuming the element is o/k and fan working if it is fan assisted, then I would suggest that your thermostat is faulty.

The thermostat is the one with the temp markings on it, and the sensor goes from it into the main oven compartment

I brought a safety valve kit for my oven and it still won't come on. What could be the problem?

your ignitor could be weak. Just because the ignitor is glowing doesnt mean its getting hot enough to open the gas valve. I would replace the ignitor its MUCH more common than a valve. Good luck _MJ_

My hotpoint ew61 double oven doesnt come up to

If it is heating, but not getting hot enough, then it is possible the thermostat is cutting the element off too soon, in this event, you will need to replace the thermostat.
If it is not heating at all , then the element is probably faulty.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

Neff U1410 main oven trips the main RCD. Occurs

I have a u1421 with the same problem! I notice the fan doesnt run too well, sometimes it doesnt run at all, needs a prod to get it running. I suspect with no fan, that the element gets far too hot, and then starts to leak to earth, tripping the RCD. I'm gonna try buying a new fan motor - you should ckeck if your fan is running full speed OK.

Oven doesn't heat up

Hi, Even though your igniter is glowing it's bad..A igniter should glow brillient yellow for it to be able to light the gas...basically whats happening in your case is although the igniter is drawing the correct amps to open the gas valve it is not getting hot enough quick enough to light it..change the igniter and you should be good to go. Good Luck!!! Mike

How to light Oven Pilot for Magic Chef stove 31000 PAW

There is a cover plate that has two screws holding it down. Inspect the pilot area and you will see a hot surface igniter sitting right next to it.. That is what lights pilot and then the pilot lights main burner. You need a new igniter. Also do not touch any part of the hot surface igniter as human oil will shorten the life of part.
