You posted a comment on this thread: http://www.fixya.com/support/t1074501-sony_kp_65wv700 suggesting you might be able to help fix a convergence problem with the KP-64WV700 TV.
I replaced both STK392-580 chips but the problem persists. I read on the thread this issue might be related to the "D"board. There's a daughter board on the convergence motherboard with an "AD" on it. Is that it?
Since something popped when the TV first broke, I was looking for physical damage on the components. The AD board doesn't seem to have this problem.

Go to the following link and leave your model number in a email and list which tube you need, they have access to just about any new replacement tube that you need for Sonys. they dont list them all, but leave a email I am sure they will have what you need.Heres the link. http://servicemanuals.vstore.ca/
I sent instructions in my last post to you, if you cant find it let me know and I will pull up the specific model for your set and try to help you locate it. And thanks I enjoy helping people with their sets I have been doing this over 25 years and still enjoy working with electronics.
This may be nothing more than dirt, hair or dust on the picture tube magnifier glass ( you can clean this by opening the front and cleaning like you would a window glass) or it may be more serious like a high voltage divider control. I would suggest you try cleaning the tubes first and if it's not that, then seek qualified help. ( PS. Always unplug the set from the wall before working inside the set ).
I hope this has helped.
Happy President Day.
