I have the same problem with a 2 year old stove, it was leaking from the safty valve, that is the part that the oven burner sits on, which is located in side the broiler drower when you remove it, it's on tha back middle lower section of that opening.

MOre than likely your igniter is getting weak. If it doesnt pull enough amperage. it shouldnt let gas into the oven. If it is letting in gas and not igniting, I would suggest a new igniter and a new safety valve. Hope this helps!

SOURCE: Kenmore Oven Problem
the ignitor has to be on before the gas valve opens up and until the stove recognizes a flame, if it doesnt the gas will shut off and the ignitor will cool off, If you use the self clean setting to clean the oven you will destroy the ignitor much faster because they are only rated for about 1000 degreese for just a minute and self clean keeps it around 800 for an hour or so. You may just need to replace the ignitor.
