been stuck with a flashing red paper light for a while. The printer
could print from the manual tray and could also print test or diagnostic
pages. So I thought it might be driver related, and indeed it was. There's
a nasty setting in the printer properties that makes the printer go
woo-hoo. So go to printer properties > tray settings. Check the
"paper size" of "Tray 1". If it's set to "undefined", change it to your
corresponding paper format. Click Update, Apply. Now print happily. I still wonder why that setting magically changed. Hope this helps someone.
Im having the same problem, will print on normal paper but when I try to print onto Glossy paper it comes up with paper jam,or paper not loaded properly is anyone else hjaving this problem? Please help!!
open the printer remove the toner and slowly pull the paper out. Pull in the natural printing direction of the printer, so if the printer pulls the paper from top-tray to bottom-tray when printing you should pull the paper from the bottom tray outwards
I think that if you use the bottom tray to load the paper, you can use the different sizes of paper to print. Make sure to click the second button inside the lid that shows the direction the paper is fed into the printer. hope this helps!
it's better to configure the paper size through the printer but the best way to do it from the software on the pc. when you go to print it, select file, print as you do, then go to paper size and select manually from the paper options and then click ok and print it.
