Perhaps you don't have the requirements necessary to install and or use the program.
check that
HERE If that's not the case, perhaps there was a faulty installation that occurred. The easiest way to determine if this is the problem is to think "did it ever work before?"
If it did work, then the problem could be lying in a registry somewhere, that became corrupted, and is affecting the operation of the program.
If that is the case, then the best thing to do would be uninstall, and reinstall it (with a reboot inbetween to remove any unused registry entries.)
the last thing that you could be facing is a bad sector in the hard drive, and that is pretty much incurable depending on size, and not to sound like a *****, but those are INSANELY difficult to fix, and you can damage a LOT more than just office if you try to fix it, and don't know how. If this is the problem, short of paying a clean room facility to strip, and relocate your data for 300 to a new drive, I'd say going out, and buying a new hard drive would be the best option. If you're not sure what kind you have, simply PM me with whether or not you have a desktop, or laptop, and the model number of it (located near the top and on the back of laptops, and misc. places on desktops
Hope this helps you,
