Re: since installing office 2007 i cant scan to word
Was this an upgrade from 2003 to 2007? I had several add-ons and components fail when I migrated. I had to completely uninstall and reinstall cleanly to get many features to work. Especially 3rd party integration stuff.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

It is a communication problem that's all. I may or may not be able to help. Are you using a scanning software on your server to scan to folders? for example "Scanrouter V2"? -you can check on your server in "start" , "programs", you will see it there if it's installed. If so do this: open "Scanrouter V2 admin utility"(you should just have to click 'OK' when asked for password -it's usually not set) then and under the "server" button select
"set I/O device", then select "remove". If you are asked to "retain
settings" select "no". Then add it again> click "add", then "Browse", it should find
the machine (either host name or IP address), select "ok" then name it whatever you want - it's for
identification only. Destinations should re-appear if you Update.
If you scan via SMB, Email or otherwise, you'll have to get your IT dept, or whoever configured in the firstplace to figure it out.
Hi, im a Canon certified tech support engineer, if you have got the correct driver for the copier the problem is based on the version of your office software. as for some vista compatible devices (yet to come) some copiers will not properly operate with this new software versions (including some office) until proper drivers and updates are released. sorry for the inconvinience.
The From Scanner or Camera option for scanning documents and pictures is not available in Microsoft Office Word 2007. Instead, you can use your scanner to scan the document, and then you can save the file to your computer.
After you scan the document, you can use Microsoft Office Document Imaging to create a version of the document that you can edit. Important The first step is to install Microsoft Office Document Imaging, which is not installed by default.
