Re: need new power cord

Elizabeth, I poked around last night but couldn?t find an absolute answer to your question so I didn?t post an answer. Since no one else has answered it I?ll share my best guess. Your monitor probably uses a standard 110v power cable. Take a look at your power socket on the monitor and compare it to this picture on Ebay and chances are good the socket end will match your monitor. Your video cable may be a little trickier. Assuming your monitor and your computer video card both have standard 15 pin VGA sockets (?D? shaped connector about 1? long with three rows of little holes) this cable listed on Ebay or one like it will work for you. If these don?t match the connector ends on your monitor let us know, and as always please don?t forget to rate this posting.

Moved computer to new location. rehooked all. monitor wont start

Without seeing your make or model on you monitor it is difficult to give you any advice.
But with that said.. If your monitor is a flat screen there is a power cord that plugs into the wall the cord is connected to a small box (power converter) out of the box is a small connector that goes into your monitor. It is small and you may have to turn you Monitor over to see exactly where it connects.

Your computer will work whether or not you have Internet service.

What cable do I buy

If it is a dvi monitor then you would need a dvi cable. VGA monitor would need a VGA cable. HDMI monitor would need a hdmi cable. If it is compatible with both dvi & vga and your video card has a dvi output then dvi is a better quality than vga. You can purchase the cable online at a store like cables2go. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

Princeton LCD17 blinks off immediately

Check the VGA cord that connects from the PC to the LCD, try putting VGA cord properly to the LCD and PC, or change the VGA cord. saving mode indicates no signal from the PC. So either the PC is not booting up or VGA cord faulty.

No monitor

If you have been fiddling around with the vga cord, you might have bent one of the pins, or problably dislodged the vga card. Try taking it off and back on. Sometimes is as simple as that.

Need new power cord for x2gen monitor

You should be able to go to any local store like BestBuy and pick up a power cable. The monitor uses the same power cable as a Desktop PC.
