Question about D-Link AirPlus DI-524 Wireless Router
I have always been able to type my ip in the browser, input the username and password, then open and close my ports for playing online games. all of a sudden a few days ago i cant. my router model is D-Link AirPlus DI-524 Wireless. the internet and everything works fine, the only problem is i cannot access the router directly to change settings and the like.
Check first the cables and connections, and the broadband filter.
You need to connect through cable to configure the router.
To access the router panel you need to input the router IP address on Internet explorer bar.
default IP is http://192.168.0.1
If IP is not default, you find out IP by opening the command prompt from start menu>>all programs>>accessories>>system tools (that kind of dos mode). On command prompt type ipconfig/all.
The default gateway is router IP.
On the router access panel default settings are :
Password leave blank
See all procedures on manual below.
Copy and paste the address below on your browser address bar.
