this tv most likely has a shorted horizontal transistor and transformer. Now that you have a heads up on the problem it's best to contact your local tv rep. John

Your best solution would be to take it in to a shop. As that is cheaper then them coming out and the job will be done right. If you need any help finding someone let me know. You can also use fixya.com 's homepage and enter your zip code.

The beeping noise is usually related to the Horizontal out put transistor or flyback being faulty or one of the coils are loose near the flyback. If you remove the rear cover without touching anything can you tell if the beeping is coming from the large transformer with the red wire coming out of the top or is it coming from a black transistor on a aluminum heat sink.

Shorted horizontial output transistor q14401 -I think- and bad flyback transformer(high voltage transformer).The noise is the power supply starting and shutting down very quickly because of the shorted transistor.Very common problem,but some of the flybacks are no longer available from RCA.Sometimes you can use generic but questionable life on some of these.
