Unwanted status print: Ustatus timed 30

Lyngby DK 8.12.2008 After I print a page the printer prints one page with prints one page with the message 12345X@PJL @PJL USTATUS TIMED 30. Rather annoying. Please advise regards Claus Alsted

the encoder strip is out of position. The strip is the foil which runs paralell to ph direction (and gives the ph the position info).

You have to open the printer and set it back into the ph carrier.

Hello,

You have a worn image drum. The drum is the part of the printer that the print image is created on before it transfers the toner to the paper. This part is coated with a very thin layer of Teflon so the toner does not stick. When it gets worn the toner starts to stick and that produces the shadow or ghost image approximately 3 inches down the page because the diameter of the drum roller is 3 inches. You will need to get the part DR-350, Office Depot has them as well as many places on the internet.

It may some paper jam inside your printer . open the front cover pull out the cartridge and look any jammed paper is there or not. if not the the problem may came from your toner drum.

Follow the below steps on the front panel of the All-in-One printer:
A. - Press and Hold the "Print Photos" & "Red Eye Removal" buttons. Release both buttons.

I'm getting the following message on my HP Photosmart C6180. Ink system has failed. Unable to copy, receive faxes, or print. Error: 0xc18a0201


Press and hold the "left arrow" key.

Got ink system failure code # 0xc18a0501 on HP Photosmart C7280 a-i-o and no amoun of shutting down and restarting will help. What can I do?


  1. Press and hold the "*" key.
  2. Press the "#" key and release both keys.
  3. Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo"
  4. Press and release in sequence the "1", "2" and "3" buttons. The screen will say "support"
  5. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says "System Configuration Menu".
  6. Press and release the "OK" button.
  7. Display should say "Hardware failure status". If not there already, Arrow Key over to "Hardware failure status",
  8. Press and release the "OK" button.
  9. Display should say "Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear".
