Hey there. If your support CD isn't working you can always download the drivers from the internet.
Here's a link, simply choose your Operating System and you will then proceed to download the drivers for your MOBO.

Memory 1 gb wil not accept

Check with your motherboard manual or the website refering to your model and make to see what type of memory it will support. After that what type of memory do you have, is it ECC registered or NON ECC registered as the asrock would only accept unbuffered non registered ddr2 rams. If you do have the coorect type of memory and after power the system on and no display or beeps is heard, then it could be a bad memory or incompatible ram. Check this link for your motherboard spec and memory support....http://www.asrock.com/mb/overview.asp?Model=K8Upgrade-VM800

How can i run 1 or 2 DDR2pc8500 1066Mhz on a asrock 775dual 880pro< it booted, went to bios to down the speed to 667, but when windows(XP) tried to boot it went to a blue screen saying things about memory...

your motherboard supports DDRII 667/533/400 and DDR400

1066 is not supported, I have never tried to use a unsupported memory speed on a motherboard so I don't know, I know you lowered it to 667 but still the ddr2 which you have bought is not supported by default.

why buy too fast memory?

RE: mother board not going on

Hi marlonvig, what type of memory (PC3200? or PC2700) memory are you using? What type in which slot?

The decription (In you're manual), refering to you're memory can be confusing.
You're manual says you can use up to 1GB of
PC3200 DDR400MHz only in Slot 1.
If you add DDR400MHz into slot 2. The board will not support it. (weird)!
If you want to reach 2GB of memory. You must use PC2700 (DDR333)MHz. 2x1GB PC2700 = 1GB DIMMS in both DIMM 1 & 2. You're board does not support DDR2 type memory.

Need you're manual? Download it from this link. Click on it.
