When istart the computer cant log in ,eventhough my user name and password is correct

A log-on loop on your Windows XP computer is a difficult situation where the computer never completes its boot cycle, restarting intermittently ad nauseam.

This issue indicates a major problem with the boot functionality of your XP system.

Restore the computer to working order by utilizing the repair and restoration utility on your XP system disk.

Insert the XP disk into the computer.

Restart the computer.

Press any key when prompted to boot from the disk.

Press "Enter" at the first screen and "F8" at the license terms.

Highlight the drive containing XP and press "R," repairing the operating system boot files and removing the log-on loop.

or

Windows XP sometimes has a glitch when you are logging in to your user account in order to boot the operating system.

The glitch logs you in and then logs you off the account.

This problem is usually caused by one of the programs that load during the computer's start-up.

Fixing this issue is a matter of ensuring that whatever program is causing the problem doesn't start up as soon as you start your computer.

or

Power on the computer and allow it to get to the user logon page normally.

There is no need to start up the computer in "safe mode."

Click the user who is having the issue and type in the user's password if one is set up.

Press and hold the "shift" button on your computer keyboard as soon as you see the tool bar load up at the bottom of the screen but before any other program has a chance to do so.

This stops any "Startup" program from running and logging you off.

Right-click the "Start" button on the bottom left of your screen.

Select "Explore" from the menu that appears.

Double-click "Programs" from the list on the left side of the window that pops up.

Double-click "Startup."

Select all the files inside the "Startup" folder by dragging a box over them.

Right-click anywhere on the selected files.

Select "Delete" to delete those files.

Note that deleting the programs from the "Startup" folder does not delete them from your computer.

All this does is make it so that these programs no longer start as your computer is starting so that any error in the running of the programs doesn't interfere with logging in to your account.

Hope this helps

Won't print ie8 based receipts

It sounds like a configuration error please check all settings and confirm that they are all correct if not correct as necessary. It may also be a conflict between the 2 printers it maybe trying to print to both and cannot due to seeing 2 printers. If you have checked all your settings and they are correct try removing 1 printer and then if it prints on either singularly then it is a error that needs correcting on the settings for your printers to be able to be used together correct this problem and then you should have no problems. I hope this helps.

I had to re-install operating system, everything works except the wireless adapter

Hi there, no need to reinstall operating system. You may need to load the driver for the wireless adapter. Whta operating system is running on your computer? If XP, the adapter may use the built in driver for XP. you just need to plug it in and run the install wizard all the way out. Then locate the wireless network connection icon found in the tray near the clock. Right click and select view available wireless network. Select the wireless network you're trying to connect to. If using a pass key supply the correct pass key and once connected, you should be able to go online.

I have new Dell computer with Vista, and dell aio 964 printer/scanner. Printer works fine but scanner says "communication no available DELL AOI Vist 64-bit

Check the link below and if I have the correct model printer shown. If so , then Dell has not yet written a VISTA 64 bit driver for this model printer.  You may contact them,of course,  and see if their is a work around like 32 bit emulation.

Just installed 3in 1 lexmark 3600-4600series to computer everything checked okay but does not print foom computer comand was told by lexmark texpert it points to spooler files needing updated please help...

What a mess of a question! Absolutely run some updates on your OS, look in your Administrative Tools for logs about spooling and printing, and make sure those Lexmark drivers are also the latest versions (from the web, not the CD that shipped with the printer.) Your computer is pretty irrelevant unless the error relates to something unique about it; a correct problem classification would be all about your model of Lexmark, would it not? And in particular, the way Windows XP printing fails in the manner of pretending to pass something along to print, with whatever Lexmark settings you select, but nothing comes out even when you select the device from the Start menu under Printers and FAXes, even if you set the printer to Use Printer Online, right? All clear then.

I have a new up to date computer and the hp officejet 4300 all in one software is not downloading please take me to the download

Okay,

There are for a 4311, 4314 and 4315 and your must be one of these models. This may be at the back of your printer or on the bottom. The 4300 is the series number. It may also be in the data sheets that came with your printer.

I also need to know what the Operating System you are using such as XP or Vista so please be specific in case you have 64bit versions of these.

I also need to know if you will be connecting using a USB, Firewire or other data cable.

Once you give me this information I can send you the link along with some tips on how to install it correctly.

I'll be glad to work with you and will look forward to your response.

Regards,
Worldvet
