HYUNDAI GETZ 2006 MP3-03G STEREO CODE Hi there! Bought a Hyundai Getz 2006 and the battery went flat, meaning that the MP3-03G stereo reset and wanted a security code. Problem is, that the code we...

Hello,

Radios have a theft-proof system that freezes the radio if power is interrupted. It was designed that way to prevent theft of the radio. The downside is your radio will be locked if you disconnect the battery for any reason, or if the battery dies. When you restore power, it will say ‘CODE‘ on the display.

  • When the radio displays CODE, you may enter the code using the preset radio station buttons
  • For instance, my number is 1615, so when I get the CODE on the radio’s display, I press the radio preset button 1, then the radio preset button 6, then the radio preset button 1, then the radio preset button 5.
  • If your radio says OFF, leave the ignition on in the first position for 2 1/2 to 3 hours in order for it to display CODE. In certain models you can clear the OFF state by pulling the fuse for the radio (#7 in my car). That’s a bit simpler than leaving the ignition in the first position for a couple of hours — particularly if you don’t have a garage. enter the code with the above procedure, if the problem still persist, am afraid you will need to take it to electronics repair workshop for diagnose, i advice you do not do it alone in other not to complicate issues.
Take care.

I have just bought a 2005 hyundai getz and i can't get the radio to work

Hi, i think the first place to go is the fusebox, make sure all the fuses are ok, if not replace the ones that are blown and then try your radio,Then if you still have nothing make sure all wire connections on the back of radio are where they supposed to be, if you have a manual check there for correct connections, and we will take it from there, ok.

I need to add and auxillary input to my 2003 chevrolet silverardo bose radio. how can i wire one in?

THE GM12-AUXV2 by P.I.E. will work for you.
It plugs into the factory radio changer port.
With this device installed, you will have created an auxiliary audio input to your factory radio, which will allow you to plug in any external audio source, like a portable MP3 player, satellite tuner, DVD player, or iPod, and play the audio from that external audio device directly through your factory radio. This is a direct connect device and NOT an FM Modulator. An FM modulator requires you to tune to an FM radio station in order to listen to the audio from the external audio device. While this is a direct connect interface, it is only an audio connection and does not allow you to control the external audio device that is connected to it.

Need code for my hyundai santa fe cd player.... have lost the numbers, i have no idea.

· Turn the Vehicle ON
· Go in the fuse panel
· Remove the memory Fuse
· Remove the Radio Fuse
· Look in the Owners manual to locate the # position then Turn on the Vehicle
· Wait for about 5 minutes then with the vehicle still ON put back the Fuses

If this does not work then follow the next step!
· Turn the key to the ACC position
· Turn On the radio
· After 1 hour
· The radio should give you another chance to enter in 3 more codes.

Press the Eject button and keep it pressed while
you also press the power on button.
Remember keeping the eject button pressed, press the power on button.
“When the radio lets you put I the codes again try this putting in
in these codes in the order that I give You ok”
1. 4712
2. 4323
3. 2537
4. 2283

If this still does not work you need to call the dealer!
If your Vehicle was not purchased at a hyundai Dealership do not tell them
so they do not refer you to the car dealer . If you describe your problem they should give you the Code over the phone… Make sure you call the 1-800 number
Remove the stereo and look along the top edge of your stereo and you will see a small sticker with your serial number on it. Write this number down.
If you did buy your vehicle from hyundai Dealership
Write down your VIN #. Call your local dealership and give them your information They SHOULD give you your code,

Thank You

The volume or maybe the speakers in my 2002 hyundai sonata stopped working. Radio still comes on but no sound. What can I do.

if you happen to have a speaker available, try to test the stereo. plug in a speaker and see if it works. otherwise, i don't really like this method but, it does work... unlug your factory speaker and plug a 9v battery to the speaker, if you hear a little popping/wizzing sound, the speaker works and it's the head unit.
also, check to see if the radio has an amp. sometimes the radio will be operational, but the amp isn't and that is the problem. and the easy solution is to replace the radio with an after market of choice. factory radio's that are purchased seperately are rather expensive.
