Question about Samsung Cell Phones

3 Answers

Samsung SGH-U900T Mobile phone here in Australia a few months old but suddenly there is no sound at all. Nothing to do with settings it would seem. Not on silent setting or anything like that. No music, no ring-tone, no key-tone, no alarms or anything. Any ideas?

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I'm not sure how to use that code! Do I just input it like I'm getting ready to make a call? Will I get some sort of an acknowledgement that it has reset?
I went into the menu and did a master reset ALL, is that the same thing?

    Thanks again

Didn't fix the problem in this case but it certainly was worth a try! I've taken it to a Samsung repairer. They want it for three weeks which I'm not happy about but that's how it goes.
    Thanks again for responding.

Try to reset the phone...phone setting then ,restore settings ,and enter password word is "00000000" 8zero's ,then try to play music ,even then if does not plays sound, then there must be problem with speakers ,if the phone is under warranty please get serviced by the company ...

Good luck...

If you done a master reset , then it done with reset of the phone , if still have the problem ,have dropped your phone or did it get wet earlier if yes then there are changes of speaker getting damaged in the phone you must change it ..

My samsung sgh-u900t seems to be working except nothing is showing on the screen, it is just a blank screen..help!

Fred - my phone did exactly the same thing in Dec 09. I can see it is turned on - I can even log in by looking at the bottom screen (which lights up when a text message comes in) but the top main 2.2 inch screen is black (with a light lit behind). Is it the same as yours and, if so, how did you resolve it?
