Any speakers that draw their power from a USB port are going to sound crappy...

you need to get speakers that draw power from the mains... anything that says either 150 watts or 300Wats PMPO...or more and if you can find a resistance rating (not always indicated) the higher the better....

Not loud enough, is there anyway i can make it louder or do you guys have a website to buy parts?

We don't have any website here. CB radios typically do produce limited volume. If you have tried different external speakers already, and you are confident you have a good antenna setup, it seems you may need an amplifier. However consider all this first -

Question about the integrated audio on an Acer desktop...

Actually, it's more the speakers, you can have the greatest sound card in the world, but plugging in a 10 dollar set of pc speakers is not going to sound good. That's why a good motherboard has Optical SPDIF Out Port, so you can put the sound to a receiver.

It's HD 5 channel, but likely your sound blaster is better.

I have surrond sound speakers thats loud but wend

I had an issue like that with one of my dell desktops too. The speakers were very quiet. I turned up the volume on the speakers, turned up the volume in windows. Unisntalled and Reinstalled audio drivers, I eventually assumed that the speakers were just junk. After buying a soundcard (I was originally using onboard sound), I discovered that the speakers were much louder through the soundcard than through the onboard audio.

Hi. Today I bought a 3 foot audio y-cable and an RCA (Phono) Female to RCA (Phoneo) Female cable so that I could hook up these two speakers that I have that belong to a predisian sound system (boom box)...

All you need to do is get a USB based sound adapter 16/32BIT MINIMUM to plug your speakers straight into your laptop with better sound. Many laptops will have limited sound OUTPUT which places large limitations on pushing sound through your nice speakers. You already know the problem is not the speakers or new cables, therefore you know that problem has been isolated to your laptop. You may also check the volume settings in the laptop to ensure your running the highest possible BIT or volume enhacement software. Let me know if this does the trick for you.

How to connect my HP 6730S Laptop with 7.1speaker

That model just has plain sterio output. The chassis does not accept add-on cards, so you will need to get a USB based sound card to get the better sound.

Creative live failed to be 5.1 in vista

Windows Vista automatically recogonises your sound card as a sterio splitter, so only 2 or 3 speakers work. we need a driver to correct this problem, but creative 5.1 has only xp drivers and there we cannot use it as a 5.1 device.

I hope this will solve your issue.

Good Luck.

If my solution proves useful please accept it.
