Question about Lenovo 3000 C200 Notebook
I plugged a usb my computer told me to to reboot and i did when it oned my laptop it said that i have a missing operating system. and it when black. i kept rebooting but there as no display it was still all black
Your computer might be looking for the operating system on your usb,try to disconnect the battery and ac adapater and put it back again, reboot he computer,if problem persist, you might need to go to the bios or setup screen, usually you can go there either by F2 or delete when you turn it on,go to the boot order/boot sequence and make sure that your hard drive is on the number one list, otherwise, you need to change the order so it wont read the usb before it loads windows

Your Lenovo laptop can be hooked up your TV if you have a model that is
capable of TV output. Newer models with HDMI ports can easily connect to newer
TVs that have HDMI input jacks. For older laptops or TVs, you will need other
adapters or cables. The most common of these is an S-video jack, which has a
small round connector with several pins arranged in a circle. For S-video
connections, you will need to hook up the audio from your laptop to your TV
Things You'll Need
Turn on your
Lenovo laptop and HDMI-enabled TV.
Connect one end
of your HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your laptop. Lenovo's IdeaPad series has
these ports. If you have a ThinkPad or other Lenovo model, connect a
USB-to-HDMI adapter to your HDMI cable, then plug the USB end of the adapter
into any USB port.
"FN" and "F7" keys on your keyboard. This will switch the laptop's
display to the TV. You can then use your TV screen as a monitor or use the
laptop's DVD drive to watch movies on your TV.
Turn off your
laptop and TV. Connect your S-video cable to the laptop on one end and the TV
on the other.
cables into your audio out jacks on the laptop. If you do not have stereo audio
output, you can use the headphone/speaker jack. Add a splitter adapter to split
the sound into stereo instead of mono (single speaker). Plug the other ends of
the audio cables into your TV.
Turn on the
laptop and let it boot up. Then turn on the TV. Right-click on your desktop
screen, then select "Properties."
"Settings" tab, the "Advanced" button, then "ATI
displays" or "Display device" or the similarly worded option,
depending on your system. It is not the "On screen displays" option
in any version.
Click on the
option that suits your system, such as "TV" or "LCD." Click
"Apply," then "Yes" to confirm, if necessary. Click
"OK" to exit. Your display should be visible on the TV screen. If
not, try pressing "FN" and "F7" to toggle the display to
the external screen.
