Is the display panel lit up? If not look for a fuse mounted on the board.Take the fuse to radio shack and get another. Unplug the unit before attempting to service it.

Bulb blew in my dimplex michigan fire, model MCN20. I now can't get the bulbs to switch off with either the remote control or the on/off switch.

Stewart, turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF. Unplug the unit from the wall outlet and wait 12 - 15 minutes. Then plug the unit back in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set the function controls manually (not with the remote) one at a time. If everything works as it should, the fire reset itself during the 12 - 15 minute timeout. If it didn't or that problem continues to reoccur, contact Dimplex North America, Technical Service at 888-346-7539.

Hope this helped you solve the problem.

Cant get my dimplex club electric fire to come on

Do the rest of the functions of the fireplace work? If so, turn the Master On/Off Switch to OFF and plug the unit for 12 to 15 minutes. After the time has elapsed, plug the unit back it and turn the Master On/Off Switch to ON. Then turn on the flame function switch. Hopefully, that timeout allowed the unit to reset itself and the flame function is now working. If it isn't, either the flame function switch is faulty or the circuity to the light bulbs and the ro-tater motor that turns the shaft, that he bulbs are attached to, has failed. Without knowing how old the unit is and how much use it's had, it's hard to pin down one thing that is causing the problem. If it's any consolation, you are not alone. Hundreds of these electric fireplaces (all makes & models) fail every year.

If all else fails, contact Dimplex USA, Technical Service at 888-346-7539.

Hope this helped to solve your problem.

Dimplex 3015 purefire remote will not torn fireplace on or off. Tried to reset remote, but no results. I have 2 fireplaces of the same type, and an old and new style remote. Tried with both remotes, but...

Apparently, the receiver on one fireplace is faulty. If this a plug-in wall type receiver, unplug it from the wall, wait 5 minutes and plug it back in. That 5 minutes may have given it time to reset itself. If you see any scorch, burn marks or melted plastic on the receiver box, it will have to be replaced. Contact Dimplex USA, Technical Service Dept at 888-346-7539.

Hope this "remotely" helps to solve your problem.

Our dimplex electric fireplace model number 28106D3F shut off and won't turn back on

Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF. Unplug the fireplace from the wall receptacle and leave unplugged for 10 - 15 minutes. This will give it time t reset itself. In the future, if you finding you're have to do this more often. Unplug the fireplace, stop using it and call Dimplex USA Technical Service 888-346-7539 for further instructions.

Dimplex DAC15006R exhaust segment won't turn off

Hi, correct me if I am wrong, but are you saying that the small inducer exhaust fan motor runs and has power to it all of the time? If this is the case, the sequence of operation on this unit when starting up is that this inducer fan motor comes on first to purge all gases from flue and to pressurize the combustion chamber through out the heating cycle. But, when the heater calls to shut off, so will this motor. This inducer motor gets its power from either a circuit board on this unit or a electronic control module that supplies voltage to it.Which ever you have that supplies power to this motor you will have to follow the 2 wires back to where they terminate will be the defective part. Either the main circuit board or ignitor module is the faulty part. If you can, follow the leads from the motor back, and get back to me and tell me where they terminate and if there are any controls in between them and where they connect. Thank you and,
Sincerely,
Shastalaker7

Shutting off

I would try the same solution as the E1 error code, Not sure if it will work, but it seems to be the same issue

1. Power down the air conditioner using the "power" button on the front
panel.
2. Unplug the air conditioner from the wall socket.
3. Hold the front panel "power" button down and plug the air
conditioner in. Continue to hold the power button down as the machine
goes through a brief test sequence (fan & compressor each come on
briefly, etc). There is a "beep" sound at the end of the test sequence,
and the machine will be off. At this point, you can release the power
button.
4. Unplug the air conditioner.
5. Plug the air conditioner back in.
6. Congratulations! You should now be able to operate the air
conditioner normally for another 720 hours, but only if you followed
the instructions above EXACTLY.

Instruction Manual

I had the same problem. If you are in Australia, the Dimplex Customer Service number is 1300 6739 033. I phoned and they are mailing me the instructions. Maybe don't say you bought the machine at a garage sale.
If you are not in Australia, try the way I did to get your local customer service number - Google the product number and go to the Dimplex website, and there should be a "Contact Us' button with a phone number or mailing address.

My becket honeywell r7184p oil burner monitor is not resetting it keeps blinking a fast green. What should i be looking for?

my Beckett oil burner with a honeywell R7184P just did the same thing. Quit burning, blinks for half a second. The burner says press reset once, if it does not reset then call a local serviceman. It is cold here in Alaska, you betcha', and my oil must have jelled up. It happened once, but pressing reset solved my problem, two days later it stopped again. I applied heat (hair dryer) to my supply line, added an anti-jelling solution to my tank. Here is what I found.

"The Honeywell R7184P-1080 (interrupted control—transformer shuts down 10 seconds after flame is established) is now the standard control used on all Beckett oil burners along with the new “Cleancut” pump. The Honeywell control has both a 15 second pre-purge and a 15 second post purge feature, as well as internal self-checking of the control itself. The control has 15 second lockout timing plus a 10 second ignition carry over period. After 3 lockouts during the same call for heat, the control goes into restricted lockout., A restricted lockout condition may be reset by holding the reset button down for 30 seconds until the LED flashes twice. At any time the control is powered, the reset button may be held for 30 seconds to reset the lockout counter. There are several new “Service Features” with the R7184P control that make for easier servicing."

You have to press the reset button for thirty seconds. I don't know how cold it it there, or what number oil you guys are burning, but what I do know is that you guys have been pressing your reset button more than once.

This worked for me. Good luck.
