I have a hp c7280 printer with a error code OXC18A0101 what does it means

Hi,

The "Oxc18" series errors can be removed by resetting the printer. Unplug the USB cable from the printer, remove the ink cartridges. When the "Insert ink cartridges" message appears unplug the power cord from the printer. Wait 1 minute (at least), then reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer if it didn't come on by itself. Reinsert the ink, close the unit and print a calibration page if prompted to do so. Finally reconnect the USB cable to the printer. If this doesn't work, the unit needs service (or replacement if the service call will cost more than a new printer).

Thank you!!

Hello,

You could try resetting the printer as a first step.

Leave the printer switched on and disconnect the USB cable from the back.

Remove the catridges and wait for "insert catridges" to be displayed. **Don't insert them! **

When the display comes up, disconnect the power cord from the printer. Wait 60 seconds and then reconnect the power cord and press the "on" button if it doesn't automatically start.

Reinsert the catridges and calibrate if asked to do so. Once this is completed reinsert the USB cord and try to print again.

If this doesn't work you can do a partial reset back to factory conditions.

  1. Unplug the power cord from the HP All-in-One.
  2. Wait for 20 seconds.
  3. Press and hold # and 3 while plugging in the power cord to the HP All-in-One.
  4. Release the buttons after the HP All-in-One starts up.
  5. The HP All-in-One will now be reset to factory defaults.
The HP website has help for your product series here (including downloads, manuals etc.)

Hope that helps!

We have the following message on screen. Insert black or photo print cartridge inright stall. We have cleaned contacts, renewed both cartridges, and still have this message. Can you advise as to the...

first make sure that your printer is directly connected to the wall socket.
Now unplug the power cord from thew back of the printer & press and hold the # and 3 keys together and plug in the power cord back into the printer (partial reset). check if it resolves the problem, if not then unplug the power cord from thew back of the printer & press and hold the # and 6 keys together and plug in the power cord back into the printer (semifull reset). check if it resolves the problem, if not then. take out all the cartridges from the printer & unplug the power cord & plug it back in without inserting the cartridges. once the printer powers on it will give you an error "ink cartridges missing" or it will ask you to insert the ink cartridges, then insert the cartridges in the printer 1 by 1 starting from the black (hard reset). This should resolve the problem. please let me know the same

I have an Easy Share printer dock series 3 that has paper loaded

To prevent misfeeds and to make sure your pictures look their best, we recommend that you keep the feed roller clean. IMPORTANT: Unplug the power before cleaning the feed rollers.
  1. Unplug the AC power cord from the power outlet.
  2. Remove the paper tray from the printer, and leave the paper tray door open. IMPORTANT: Do not use cotton or cotton swabs to clean the feed roller.
  3. Lightly moisten a lint-free cloth with water.
  4. Use the moistened cloth to gently wipe clean the surface of the feed roller. Advance the feed roller with your thumb as necessary, and continue cleaning.
  5. Let the feed roller dry fully before plugging the AC power cord back into the power outlet.
  6. Insert the paper tray into the printer, then press the Print button to resume printing.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I have an all in one printer. Series HP Officejet 6310v. Everything is hooked up right. Trying to fax something and I always get error messages saying the line is busy. What is the problem Thank...

Are you sharing the same fax line with phone aswell or is it a dedicated fax line..

First Try this steps:
Unplug the power cord from the All-In-One when there is still power in the unit.
Unplug it from the wall outlet aswell.
Leave the cord unplugged for atleast 1Min.
Then connect the power cord directly to wall out let without any surg protector.
But before connecting it to the All-In-One, Press and hold the # and no 6 button in the All-In-One and insert the power cord, do not release the keys untill you see a message as semifull reset or if the display goes blank then release the keys and turn the power on.
And then try running a fax test Goto: setup / Menu> then press the right arrow keys and go to> Tools> Press Ok> then Press the right arrow key and scrole to Run fax test and check what has failed (if anyting has failed)
If all has passed then try sending a fax and check.
If not let me know.

Good Luck

No Power

This is Kodaks suggestion:

Verify that the large end of the AC power cord is inserted fully into a power outlet.
Verify that the small end of the AC power cord is inserted fully into the DC-in port on the back of the printer.
Turn on any power strip or wall switch that is connected to the printer.

Here is a page that might be of some help to you:

Good luck and let us know how it goes.
