Question about Audio Cards
Sir ihave a computer which contained before windows vista and was changed to xp proffetional but the sound is not coming out.saying it does not contain chipset.
You have to install chipset driver first followed by sound driver...

First has this ever worked?
If yes - Please verify that you have power going to your speakers (if power is needed) and that you are plugged into the correct port on the computer (usually green that says sound or line out)
You may want to test your speakers on other types of equiptment, such as a boom box or anything for that matter that supports the plug.
You may also want to try the computer with a different set of speakers.
If this works replace your speakers if not I would ask you what type of operating system do you run on your computer such as windows xp, '98, Vista ?
