You can download the WEBcam and device drivers from Dell WEB site,the support download page. Make sure you select your model desktop or laptop,better still, type in the Service Tag number, it is printed on the label on thebottom of the laptop and on the back or sides of a desktop. (If the Service Taglabel is missing then go into the BIOS setting and on one of the BIOS pages,the Service Tag number will be displayed). If it works with skype, it should run under XP. There are lots of applications that will run it ... To answer your question directly, go the manufacturers web site (which I would have provided had you mentioned the make) and click on the Support tab - find your computer and find your specific driver for the web cam. They may even have a web cam specific application to run it.
