A GE model wes1450dm1bb microwave cooks and stops, but starts when you open door. The only way to stop it is to unplug it then open door. What could be the problem?

You may have a loose, misaligned, or broken door switch mount, or an intermittent door switch.

Door switch trouble is caused mostly by slamming the door or openng the door while it's cooking instead of hitting the "Stop" pad first.

My help file on door switches is here: http://031d26d.namesecurehost.com/mwd/doorsw.txt and you can visit my helpp site at http://www.microwavecontrol.com.

You can e-mail me at pupista@gmail.com and include your full model number and FCC ID number from the tag in the cooking cavity.

I'll be happy to help you.

My cell fone xpressmusic 5220 is dead ad i want to flash or re-install software

Here is the procedure.

First download and install Pheonix from this link. Nokia Phoenix Service Software 2011 - Download secondly Download flash file from this link 5220 file and install it to C / program files/pheonix.. after finished this installation open pheonix . Inside the interface at the> top left <there you see "File" click there and choose "open file" and then select the approprait Product type i.e "which is written on the back panel inside the battery of every Nokia(Type RM-000).After doing this again at the left top count from "File"1..2..3..the 4th one is "Flashing" press there, when you click there you'll see three sub-menus, just select the "Firmware Update" again you'll see another interface. Look at the product code there should be blank and put your "mouse tool" at the straight end from the "Product Code" there is a Button and choose the code which is written in the back side of your phone. e.g CODE:0000000.if the same code does not found just take one which is higher. After this you can see "Dead phone USB flashing" click that box. Now this is the last stage... Connect your phone with the USB to your PC and let the driver install ...wait for a moment.(If your phone working).Lastly after just finished (In case your phone is Dead, unable to switch on in normal mode start from here) Connect the phone to pc without powering...insert good battery and Click the "Referbish" button after this, a message will prompt you "press power botton" etc. insert charger or press it and wait until the phone will Restart automatically in normal mode 10-15 minutes. If you cannot understand just leave a Comment/Click here1. thanks for visiting fixya. Good luck.

How do i convert a ntsc file to a pal file??

Here's a complete How-to article on PAL (phase alternating line) to NTSC (obsolete analog TV) conversion:
http://www.deskshare.com/resources/articles/dmc_convertbetween_PAL_NTSC.aspx

What's required is Digital Media Converter software - since images on a DVD are stored
in MPEG2 format.

Here's the (free) MPEG2 decoder you'll need:
http://www.deskshare.com/download/mpeg2decoder.exe

A. Sometimes the file config.nt can become corrupted, specifically the files= line, therefore:
  1. Start Notepad (Start - Programs - Accessories - Notepad)
  2. Open %systemroot%/system32/config.nt, e.g. d:/winnt/system32/config.nt
  3. Check at the bottom the line
    files=40
    If the files is something like
    files=20$%THY
    it has been corrupted and you should change to only have a number after the equals sign
  4. Save the file
  5. Reboot

I recently had a HD crash and have replaced it with another HD using the same Windows XP OS. While trying to reload programs that were on the old HD to the replacement, some of the programs get this error...

I always receive a "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT" error message.

“C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-
DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose ‘Close’ to terminate the application.”

This error message is not caused by the installation CD-ROM, but rather by the
“Autoexec.nt” system file. Windows is unable to find this file when launching the
installation CD-ROM, the file most likely having been deleted by another application.

To resolve this problem, proceed as follows:
1. Go to “C:\Windows\repair” and find the file “Autoexec.nt”.
2.Copy this file to “C:\Windows\system32”.
3.Right-click the file “Autoexec.nt” that you have just copied, and select
“Properties”.
4.Tick the “Read-only” box and then click “OK”.

Good luck!
