Question about Dell Latitude C840 Notebook
Touchpad mouse and or keys for mouse do not work, upon fresh install of xp pro when you get to the first screen that requires you to use the mouse pad its froze up and will not move. install a usb mouse and it works fine, changed memory and hard drives, cant find a solution. thanks guys..
Try using the usb mouse then go into control panel>system>hardware>device manager. Click on the +sign next to touch pad or pointing devices and right click on touchpad, then click on uninstall. Reboot the computer, unplug the usb mouse and the touchpad should be picked up as new hardware and be re-installed.
