Your problem isn't making much sense. you say you are using bluetooth devices to connect your pc to your printer and it isn't working because you need a passkey (encyption key).

Hi, my dlink dir 600 is funished as an access point and i cant connect to the pptp vpn server from my university. What do i have to do?

the problem is most likely that your university blocks the pptp ports so you cannot connect to the VPN. are you able to access it if you plug your computer directly into the wired connection?

Installing a printer on the F8T030 Bluetooth AP in Vista

This worked for me...

Install Printer Driver on PC
Select driver properties - then PORTS tab
Add Port
Select "Standard TCP/IP Port" then "New Port"
Next on Wizard

Enter IP address of AP (ensure you have a fixed IP address)
Port name can be anything unique (I used "Belkin_USB2")

Wizard will search but not find anything.
Under Device Type select Custom and "Settings")

Set Protocol to LPR
Set Queue Name to "upper" or "lower" depending which USB socket you have used on the AP
Ensure "LPR Byte Counting" is enabled - this is important.

NEXT then FINISH and Close "Printer Ports" dialogue.
Apply settings and try test print.

Worked ok for me (Vista Ultimate 64)

This AP is in network x.x.102.0, which has it's own DHCP server. Only lan-port and WLAN are used on AP. I need this AP not to have it's own ip-adress, but devices, that connect to it,using WLAN,...

Ideally, there shouldn't be any configuration needed. Access points are transparent and only work as a bridge between wireless and wired network so devices should obtain their IP info from your DHCP server not the access point by default.
If you face problems, then there might be a DHCP server in the access point, disable that.

good luck

Hi i bought the smc wireless router and i tries to connect it but i couldnt figure out how to connect it because i have a laptop and my internet is connected from my modem to my laptop but i cant seem to...

I'm unsure of the exact part number here but using the model number I checked the manual. This looks like it's just an access point which extends a current network you have. If you only have your laptop, this device and your internet modem it may not give you the wireless connectivity you're looking for. On a normal setup you would plug your modem into a router, plug your laptop into the router and set it up with all your DSL/Cable connection information as well as wireless on/off. You can then unplug from the router and continue life. with this one it's only connecting to an existing setup (another router or another wireless network) and extending it.
If you are looking for a solution to give you a router that connects to your modem and gives you wireless or adding multiple devices on a single connection I would recommend returning this and getting an all-in-one router such as this:

Saitek wireless mouse

Hi. Try these simple steps:

Check if you have a small button on the bluetooth device you connected to the USB port of your computer. If it has, then press it and you'll see a light blinking.

While the light on the USB device is blinking, press the connect button underneath the mouse and it should pair within 30 seconds.

How do i set a password?

Follow these rules for a secured WLAN
connect to your router as admin using Lan cable.
Set A router password. (if not already set)
Change your SSID from standard name
Consider do not broadcast SSID
In wireless setting select WPA-PSK security protocol
Create a Passphrase to be used as key (write it down)
save and use new setting in every connected device of this network.
I recommend first broadcast your network with WPA-PSK password.
Find your network with your clients (PC, Console, print server) use pw to connect in secured way.
Be sure to set client network properties to "connect to this network even if not broadcasting"
For increased security modify your network in Router to "No broadcast"

DHCP option is disabled when LAN IP is Dynamic on DWL-G700AP

that is right the access point does not have a dhcp server. that will give an ip address to all of your computers or device connected to it wireless. If you have a modem with a dhcp server there will be no problem with the IP but if the modem does not you must have a router and now an access point.
