SOURCE: Primer button Ryobi lawn hornet

Vacuum created by piston operation after closing the choke pulls fuel into carburetor port into engine. In much the same way as the primer bulb provides fuel for the port. These type engines usually take a few more pulls before they will start. And if there are any leaks in carb. system will be very hard to start.

What is the air gap for my magneto on my 25cc homelite weeater?

Should be around .013 to .014. turn flywheel until magnets face magneto insert your feeler gauge and loosen magneto screws...let the magneto stick to the feeler gauge and the magnets... re-tighten the screws, remove feeler gauge, and you should be set...hope this helps. ;-D

Hi,
The "Champion" spark plug for your item is #RDJ7Y
Or another brand, "NGK" #BPMR6F/130-769
You can set the gap to .020"

Hope this helps...

Carburator adjustments

Unfortunately, the two screws are not the problem. In fact, they very rarely require adjustment. Only when the engine is old and worn.
The problem is the timing, that is in need of adjustment.
You need to try and find the old screw settings, (if you can).
To adjust the timing, you can either adjust the gap, between the magneto, and the contact, or, the gap on the plug.
Good luck with that,
btw, don't forget to rate:)
