I am unable to access my blitzz bwp611 router. I have tried and to no avail. How can I gain access to this router?

The router should be accessible from the Default Gateway IP Address of your network. Examples I have found are like this:
you can check you default gateway by opening a command window (Start CMD, right click CMD on the Menu for Vista/7, Start, run cmd for XP) on the command line type IPCONFIG
This will give you your IP address, Subnet Mask and Default Gateway IP address. Type the Default Gateway IP address in to you address line of the browser, you should get a sign in prompt. Unless you changed the default settings, the username and password should be left blank. That should give you access.

What is the ip of motorola wimax cpei35600

By the default this router is using a , if you cannot access it using that IP address you can do a reset on the unit by pressing the reset button of the router.

You can also check the default gateway of the computer from command prompt by typing IPCONFIG from the computer working with the router and once you find the default gateway that is the number that you can try to access the router page.

Trying to access to or but all it saids is internet explorer cannot display website.

It means that IP address is not your router's default gateway.
To check for the routers default gateway
1 Go to Start 2 Click Run (XP), Word to be typed is ipconfig 3 Scroll up on the command prompt and you will see your default gateway, now try accessing that
For(Vista, Win7) 1 Type cmd in the search box, hit enter 2 Type ipconfig in the command prompt 3 Scroll up to check the Default Gateway
I hope this helped.

Hello Geagleso,

I would recommend checking to see what your computer is using as a default gateway. Press the Windows key and the R button at the same time to open the run window and then typy in "cmd".
In the command prompt you will want to type in "ipconfig" to get the configuration of your network adapter. Your default gateway should be the router. If you still can't access the router using the default gateway IP address then you will need to reset the router using the reset button on the back of the unit near the power cable.

My router will work as a 4 port connect but no software to config for my xp pro sp3. help w dsl.?

You do NOT need software to configure the Westell- it is configured through a web-browser interface. Here's how to access the westell: Go to start > run> type cmd. Press enter. That will bring up a command prompt. Type IPCONFIG /ALL and press enter. What you are looking for is the default gateway. Normally it should be
Next open a web browser (internet explorer, firefox, chrome, safari, etc) and in the address bar (NOT THE SEARCH BAR!) type (or whatever you saw for Default Gateway when you ran IPCONFIG)
You should get a box asking for user name and password- by default those are "admin" and "password" respectively.
That should log you into the Versalink, where you can modify how it connects (for instance, setting the DSL username and password, or DHCP, or static IP routing information), the wireless features, etc.

Your can try changing the channel of the wireless signal by accessing your 2wire Homeportal's interface. try changing it using these recommended channels: 1,5,9 and 11. The channel is usually defaulted to 6 which most of the time conflicts with other high frequency devices.Hope this helps. If you are unsure on how to access your Homeportal's interface you just need to know the default gateway of your device. just go to start>run>type cmd>click on ok>then on the blinking cursor just type ipconfig/all and the number's beside the default gateway is the address of your 2WIRE Homeportal.Just simply open a browser afterwards and access those numbers you found on the cmd prompt. and it should show you the interface of the 2WIRE device.

Please help!

1. Click Start, Run, CMD, hit enter and write down the ip address of your default gateway.

2. Open your web browser, in the address bar type http://(ip of default gateway).

3. Type 'admin' for both username and password. If this doesn't work try using admin for just the password.

4. Go to wireless settings and first make sure that the SSID broadcast is enabled, if not enable it. Second, go to the wireless security section and choose an encryption method, i recommend wpa personal. Use a passcode that is easy for you to remember, you will need to enter it before you can access the internet wirelessly.
